6 Underwater Games You Need to Play to Celebrate World Oceans Day

World Oceans Day is a call to action focusing on some changes to the way we live. First, much of what we do ultimately affects the ocean mostly indirectly. Some actions, like improper disposal of plastic wastes, have direct ecological consequences that not only affect marine life but also contribute to the acceleration of worldwide climate change. Second, there is a call to veer away from ‘fossil fuels’ as an energy source and shift towards the study of renewable energy. This also extends to other petroleum products such as plastics. Lastly, we must also be consistent in pushing towards environmentally sustainable ways of living from within our communities to the many international spheres governing our societies.
World Oceans Day is coming soon. Here are a few games you need to play to celebrate World Oceans Day:
Animal Sim: Underwater
Travel throughout the vast ocean. Choose from a wide variety of sea creatures to represent you throughout your adventure. Animal Sim: Underwater also includes RPG elements where you can do battle with various terrors of the deep to gain cool levels and unlock more creature skins for you to try out. The ocean is your pearl as you and your friends can play in any way you want from adventuring to chilling out and creating your custom RP’s.
Brookhaven RP: Underwater
There are plenty of games under this title, but Brookhaven RP – But It’s Underwater is one of the more interesting versions where your underwater adventure becomes a survival game. Dive into a waterlogged version of Brookhaven and save yourself from vigilant, vicious, and fast-acting sharks out to reduce you to blocks of flotsam. Don’t worry though, the game gives you a few tools to help you escape their jaws at least for a while.
Ragdoll Engine: But It's Underwater
Curious about how diving into the depths can feel? Try this deep-sea swimming version of Ragdoll Engine. Explore a wide range of emotions and reactions from floating on the water’s surface to swimming to reach the seafloor. Ragdoll Engine: But It’s Underwater is a sandbox game that allows you to play the perfect game you and/or your friends have in mind.
Escape the Underwater Base Obby
Find your way out of a high-tech marine base filled with traps and puzzles. Escape the Underwater Base Obby puts you through areas filled with killer tiles, moving lasers, and explosive shockwaves that don’t know when to quit. Run, jump, and dodge through them in a race to reach the surface before it’s too late.
JailBreak Underwater
This cops-and-criminals game is taking things beneath the waves. This is real-time multiplayer where Robloxians choose to play between the Police and Criminal factions. One’s job is to stop crime when it’s happening – while the other makes sure that the lawmen won’t do their roles properly. JailBreak: Underwater is best played with a small group for non-stop mayhem.
Be a Fish
Jump into a vast cerulean aquascape. Assume any form from small and humble to mighty and imposing whales. Be a Fish lets you move those fins as a sea creature of your choosing to find and eat crabs scattered all over the seabed. Your steady crustacean gorging gives you access to new creatures you can swim as. While crabs are everywhere, most of them hide in less obvious spots, giving you more reasons to explore the depths.
